Your donation of any size touches lives every day and supports academics, research, patient care, scholarship, and service to others. Your generosity makes this extraordinary work possible across the disciplines.

Is my donation a charitable contribution?

Gifts to projects featured on Momentum are considered charitable contributions to Emory University. All gifts are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.

Will I receive a receipt for my contribution?

Yes! You will receive a gift acknowledgment and tax receipt from Emory University.

How can I double my donation?

Thousands of companies match gifts to higher education, which can double or triple your gift. To find out if your employer (or your spouse's employer) has a matching gift program, please visit www.matchinggifts.com/emory.

If so, please contact your Human Resources representative for a matching gift form. You may need to provide Emory's Employer Identification Number (EIN) on the form, which is 58-0566256. 

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card is charged immediately upon finalizing your gift on Momentum.

Can I give by mail or phone?

Momentum provides a platform to easily make online gifts. If you are interested in giving to a particular Momentum project by phone or mail please contact annualgiving@emory.edu for more information.

What do the project giving levels represent?

Momentum project giving levels represent suggested donation amounts with a description of the types of things you will help make possible within each campaign. Individual gifts made on Momentum to Emory University projects combine with other gifts to support the overall project needs. Your contribution might not be allocated directly to a specifically described item; your gift will go where it will do the most good by combining it with the gifts of others to achieve the overall project goals.
