At Emory University, veterans and their families are a valued and vital part of our community. Emory is committed to investing in veterans as students, caring for veterans in the greater Atlanta metropolitan region and beyond, and training current and future health care providers to provide the very best in specialized care.
Emory’s support for veterans on campus and in the community is enhanced by philanthropic support. Whether you are passionate about providing financial assistance for veterans who are students or growing the capacity of Emory to provide legal and health care services to veterans, your gift will benefit our nation’s heroes.
Emory Public Interest Committee (EPIC) is a student-led organization at the Emory University School of Law that provides pro bono law services to our veterans and opportunities for our students.
The Emory Veterans Association's mission is to promote, inform, and support Emory’s military-connected student community while they’re enrolled and after they’ve completed their studies by serving as the lead campus advocacy and community engagement group. Gifts support initiatives such as admissions events for prospective student veterans, welcome programs for new student veterans, and networking events to connect Atlanta-area professionals with the Emory veterans community.
The Emory Heathcare Veterans Program treats veterans and service members with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), military sexual trauma (MST), anxiety, depression, and related conditions with a very high rate of success. Gifts to the Emory Veterans Program fund bolster our intensive outpatient program, through which post-9/11 warriors receive travel, lodging, meals, activities, and all treatments for no out-of-pocket cost. Your gift will help transform, and possibly save, the lives of our nation’s heroes.
The Goizueta Military Scholarships fund is used to award scholarships to active military and veterans enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at Emory University Goizueta Business School.
Launched on Veterans Day, November 11, 2020, the Emory Alumni Veterans Network is an online network that builds esprit de corps and fosters personal and professional development among Emory Alumni Veterans by connecting veterans to each other, the Emory Community, and the larger community within which Emory Veterans continue to serve. The Emory Alumni Association aims to serve those who have served.
