Emory students promote environmental sustainability by planting trees and pulling trash from rivers. They work to support domestic violence survivors at community aid centers. Students serve in homeless communities to provide basic needs like food, blankets and emotional support. They offer compassion for injured, abandoned, and abused animals. They work with faculty on semester long projects focused on what they are learning in the classroom. The Volunteer Emory Endowment supports these projects and others like them—forged from a vast network of Emory student led programs who engage with dozens of Atlanta-area community partners—allowing Emory students to engage with, support, and impact the greater Atlanta community and beyond.

Volunteer Emory is committed to lifting up and working with Atlanta-area communities and far beyond by facilitating service opportunities and social justice work for Emory students, faculty, staff, and alumni. It's a hub for student-led service efforts on campus, where students discover opportunities for engagement.

You can make an impact

• $5 can provide a snack for a student on a weekly service trip
• $20 can cover driver certification fees for our student drivers for Alternative Breaks and weekly service trips 
• $100 can reimburse one community partner for materials that they provide our students during community work
• $250 can provide transportation to our students on an Alternative Break
• $500 can purchase food to fuel our students in their community work during a day of service
