Our Crowdfunding Groups
Thank you to everyone who donated to our Haiti mission. The Emory Medishare Surgery team will soon travel to Hinche, Haiti, to provide free surgical care to those that need it most. We will perform 65 to 70 operations over a two-week period. Many of these operations are life changing. Routine procedures that we take for granted here in the U.S., like simple hernia repairs, are not performed in Haiti due to lack of funding, awareness, and surgical workforce. Many of our operations will enable patients who are bedridden to return to work so they can again provide for their families.
