Drug Innovation Ventures at Emory (DRIVE)—a nonprofit biotechnology company founded to discover and develop antiviral drugs to anticipate and help end deadly pandemics and outbreaks caused by viruses—has the most promising potential antiviral therapeutic for coronavirus that can be taken as a pill, making it easy to disseminate, which is a critical aspect in containing the pandemic.
To date, our treatment has been proven successful in animal trials and we are moving into human testing. With your help, we can accelerate the process to get our antivirals rapidly and safely approved.
