Thank you for your interest in helping the Emory Entrepreneurship & Venture Management's HackATL 2020. Even though the crowdfunding campaign has ended, you can still support this group by making a gift today!
HackATL is one of the most prominent hackathons in the Southeast organized by Emory Entrepreneurship & Venture Management (EEVM), a student-run club that aims to create a community for students who wish to pursue entrepreneurship at Emory and beyond. Since 2013, HackATL has attracted thousands of students from top undergraduate programs across the United States to build a business in 48 hours and pitch it to judges, angel investors, and venture capitalists.
Last Year, HackATL 2019 placed a greater emphasis on producing original ideas that disrupted the status quo. This year, participants will be challenged to explore the unconventional. With our theme, Adventure is Out There, our hackers will be able to develop breakthroughs that will change the world for the better!
Thirty percent of small businesses fail within the first two years and few businesses are able to maintain profitability beyond five years. We hope by increasing access to resources such as accelerators, mentorship, and workshops focusing on the fundamentals of building a successful business, we can demystify the entrepreneurial process on campus. But we need your support to make it possible!
With your contribution to HackATL, students will be equipped to enter the realm of entrepreneurship and meet the demands of the current market.
To ensure that we host a safe and inclusive event we have decided that HackATL 2020 will be held virtually! This is the first time HackATL has been available on such a wide scale. We hope this allows more participants from parts of the country we haven’t seen attend before and are committed to inspiring students from all over the country, providing mentorship, and hacking away- regardless of distance. For the latest updates on HackATL 2020 please visit our website at HackATL.org.
HackATL’s parent organization is Emory Entrepreneurship & Venture Management which has 54 executive members, 45 events annually, broken into 7 divisions.
Over 400 students from all over the country participate in Emory’s HackATL.
