Thanks to you and other generous donors like you, we have surpassed our goal of $25,000, raising over $29,000 in support of the Twilla Haynes Faculty Award. Having exceeded our goal through crowdfunding and offline gifts, the NHWSN will contribute $21,000 to get us to $50,000, which is the required amount to establish a fund that will honor Twilla’s memory in perpetuity. Twilla was a one-of-a-kind nurse who worked tirelessly to provide health care to underserved communities in Georgia and Haiti. This award will honor her work and give the next generation of leaders among our faculty recognition for their work in the classroom, as well as a stipend to focus on research and field work serving vulnerable populations.
