A Final Thank You

May 04, 2021

Thank you, thank you, thank you! We could not be more grateful for all the donations towards diminishing the language-based inequity in healthcare.

Each year, we train ten new members who are just as passionate about this mission as you are. And with over $9000, we guarantee at least two years of EVMIS. Your donation will directly contribute to the 40-hour training course that costs on average $650 per student.

If you would like to continue with us in this journey, follow our social media platforms – on Instagram and Facebook – where we will continue to share our progress and experiences.

Together, we help countless individuals in need of medical interpretation as well as medical facilities and Emory students. Our EVMIS family just wanted to say that YOU are making a real impact in the Atlanta community – Thank you!

One Last Push: $1,000 Away from Our Goal!

April 07, 2021

Our EVMIS family could not be happier about the impact of this amazing fundraiser. We are so close to reaching 100% of our goal, thanks to every single one of you.

We have two weeks to raise $1000 and reach 100% of our goal, which will help future members of EVMIS to become qualified medical interpreters and assist countless patients and physicians that struggle daily with the language barrier in underserved communities. If you would like to make an even greater impact, please share our Momentum fundraiser, momentum.emory.edu/EVMIS, with family, friends, and colleagues via Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. You, too, have the power of extending EVMIS's reach by your efforts.

Remember that you are changing our organization and the Atlanta community for the better – Thank you!

50% Raised, 50% To Go – Thank you!

February 19, 2021

Thank you for helping us reach 50% of our $9750 goal!

We are beyond grateful for all your donations toward our future medical interpreters. Every single dollar will help our volunteers get professionally trained and help countless patients and physicians in underserved areas of Atlanta.

As of now, every member of our Fall 2020 class has finalized their interpreter training and will soon be heading to Good Samaritan Health Center to put their attained skills into work. Our mission is to diminish the language-based inequity in healthcare, and YOU have contributed to this cause!

Please continue to share our link with family and friends at momentum.emory.edu/EVMIS, or by Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn and make sure to follow our Instagram or Facebook pages to learn more about us.
