Emory is ranked in the top 20 nationally for its radiology residency and fellowship programs and for its undergraduate medical imaging program. The quality of these programs connects directly to the quality of clinical care provided across the Emory Healthcare enterprise, thanks in large part to the work of Dr. Bill Torres. As Emory Radiology’s Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs from 1996 until 2019, Dr. Torres ensured seamless integration of the department’s training programs with providing outstanding patient care and clinical service, modeling the way to excellence for hundreds of trainees over his nearly 45-year career with Emory.
