Thank you for supporting the Food Security Fund!

February 03, 2022

Since we launched this campaign for GivingTuesday last fall, we have collectively raised over $7,000 from 80 donors. Thank you! Your generosity toward the Food Security Fund has a tangible impact on students who experience food insecurity right here on Emory’s campus. Because of donations like yours, various campus partners such as Emory Campus Dining and Student Case Management are able lead a variety of programs to address the immediate, critical food needs of both our undergraduate and graduate students. For example, check out this huge grocery drop delivered to the Emory Food Coop in January!

Thank you again for being a part of this successful campaign!

Your support is helping feed students over winter break!

December 23, 2021

Thank you so much for supporting the Food Security Fund during this holiday season!

Food insecurity within the Emory student community remains a significant and tangible need, especially during breaks when dining options are closed or limited. This winter recess, we are using $2,000 of the funds raised during Giving Tuesday to support the food-related needs of students that are unable to go home. Your support ensures these students will have the nutrition they need over the holidays.

We are hoping to continue the momentum by keeping our campaign open through January 31, 2022. Please share this cause with your networks, using the social share buttons on our page or here via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or via email (http://momentum.emory.edu/GTFoodSecurity).

Thank you for your kindness for others. We hope you have a wonderful holiday season!

You made GivingTuesday a resounding success—thank you!

Every donation can spark real change. In this case, the collective impact of more than 400 gifts totaling over $71,000 to Emory’s GivingTuesday causes will create life-changing opportunities within the Emory community. From mentorship and experiences outside the classroom to inclusive community programs and food security, you are helping to ensure that Emory students are flourishing during their time on campus and are prepared to succeed in meaningful careers.

Donors like you make the Emory Food Security Fund possible. We are elated to share that we have raised over $5,900 dollars, reaching 59% of our ambitious goal. Our campaign page will be extended through December 5th for additional gifts toward this critical need.

Thank you again for choosing to support your favorite cause by giving through Emory this GivingTuesday. We are so grateful you gave to Emory as part of the global giving movement!
