Renew your support this #GivingTuesday

November 28, 2022

Giving Tuesday was created as a simple idea – a day that encourages people to do good. Your past gift to this campaign advanced the Michael C. Carlos Museum’s role as an international resource for the study of ancient Egyptian art and culture. Thank you for being a part of a real, tangible outcome of GOOD within the Emory community.

Ongoing support and advocacy for these funds goes to conservation and object research of the Egyptian collection. For this reason, we hope you will renew your support again this Giving Tuesday.

Emory Momentum now accepts multiple payment options for your gift: choose from debit or credit card, PayPal, Venmo, and ApplePay (if set up on your device). Click here to renew your gift to the Michael C. Carlos Museum Exhibitions Fund. We hope you’ll join the #GivingTuesday movement again and reimagine a world built upon shared humanity and radical generosity.

Thank you for making Emory a part of your GivingTuesday!

December 03, 2021

You made GivingTuesday a resounding success—thank you!

Every donation can spark real change. In this case, the collective impact of more than 400 gifts totaling over $71,000 to Emory’s GivingTuesday causes will create life-changing opportunities within the Emory community.

Donors like you make advances at the Michael C. Carlos Museum possible. We are elated to share that we have raised over $9,000 dollars through our GivingTuesday campaign, reaching 96of our extended goal. Our anonymous donor will be contributing $2,000 from her challenge but nearly $500 is still available. Our campaign page will be extended through December 5th for any last gifts to help fulfil the remaining $500 challenge.

Thank you again for choosing to support your favorite cause by giving through Emory this GivingTuesday. We are so grateful you gave to Emory as part of the global giving movement!

GivingTuesday challenge – your advocacy can help us reach our new goal!

November 29, 2021

Thank you so much for your support of the Michael C. Carlos Museum before GivingTuesday! Your generosity will help advance ancient Egyptian Art through the Senusret Collection. We have already surpassed our original goal of $5,000. Wow!!

An anonymous Carlos Museum donor was so thrilled with the progress of our Senusret Collection fundraising before Giving Tuesday, she just offered a $2500 challenge to increase the goal to $9,500. If we meet our new goal of $9,500 by the end of this week, another $2500 will be added to our fundraising total.

Help us spread the word and ask your friends to join you, so we can reach our new goal and unlock $2,500! Please share this campaign with your networks, using the social share buttons on our page or here via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or share our link, http://momentum.emory.edu/Senusret, directly via email.

Thank you again for being a part of this global giving movement by supporting a cause you care about at Emory! Your gift and every gift you inspire will help Emory fulfill its commitment to radically reshape the future to serve humanity through knowledge.
