Dear EMBA ’22’s!
Congratulations on successfully navigating the last 21 months. We faced COVID restrictions, lost weekends, military obstacle courses, overcoming fears of public speaking, long nights, dealing with classmates and jobs simultaneously, and professors who change an entire syllabus mid-semester!
However, the best part of our Emory experience is the life-long friendships we made. We also learned important concepts that will enable us to be better leaders… not only for our professional lives, but for our personal lives too.
Many of us look at university donations with suspicion. However, our class gift is special. We get to choose our cause, and we know exactly how the money will be spent. Our money will not be tossed into a dark bucket. Our donations reflect not just on our class, but the university as a whole, and it is something we should be proud to support.
This year we recommend supporting StartMeATL.org which helps people start and grow small businesses right here in Atlanta. Small businesses are the lifeblood of our community, because they provide an opportunity for talented and ambitious people to fulfill their potential in ways they may not be able to otherwise. Start:ME is supported by the top companies in Atlanta, and it boasts incredible success rates. Our support as a class will not go unnoticed.
We are not looking for large donations but rather we are seeking to achieve our LAST ACT as a class with 100% participation. Thanks for your support in giving back to the community.
