Dear Supporters,

We wanted to sincerely thank everyone who has supported our efforts this year and contributed to making this annual outreach trip back to Guatemala possible. We blew past our original fundraising goal of 50k! Then, after increasing our fundraising goal to $60k, we stormed past that too only weeks later!

Our success is a testament to the value that you all place on this team and this project, and the immense impact this trip can have on so many lives. A mountain is made up of many little stones, and this campaign is a perfect example of that collective effort.

We have completed the final stages of planning for our outreach trip to Huehuetenango, Guatemala. We have gathered final supplies, planned our clinic and OR workflows, finalized logistics, and got some rest before the hard work begins today, on June 13^th.

We will be capturing our work with photographs, videos, and written reflections, and would love to share these with you. Please follow our Instagram pages @emory_hdg and @egpalliance.  

Lastly, even though we have reached out goal, you can still contribute to our efforts through the end of June! Please continue spreading the word and sharing our cause with those who may find it interesting. All money that we raise here will go towards last minute supplies and logistics in-country and towards our future outreach trips, planning for which starts the day we arrive back from Guatemala. We look forward to sharing the impact we made together, with your generosity, when we return!
