What is Emory ICA?

Emory’s Indian Cultural Association (ICA) is excited to host Diwali, the vibrant festival of lights celebrated in India, once again. Diwali is Emory's largest off-campus event, showcasing India's remarkable regional, religious, and cultural diversity.

Emory ICA Impact

We are committed to making our Diwali event a grand success, and every donation counts! Even if we don't meet our dollar goal, rest assured that all funds raised will be put to good use in various crucial aspects of the event. These include covering expenses for the venue, transportation, sound and lighting, food, security, and much more. As the event costs four times our annual budget allocated by College Council, every contribution plays a significant role in making this large-scale celebration a reality.
   
Our focus is to enhance the experience for students at Emory by making the event more accessible. In the past, student tickets have been ~$40 each (which covers 2/3 of total costs per person). Last year, we were super excited to receive external funding that allowed us to lower student tickets to $15 each (including transportation to/from venue, three course meal and a night of song & dance).  

We are coming to all supporters of Emory ICA today in hopes of keeping ticket prices at the far more adorable cost we had last year. It's crucial to us that everyone can join in the festivities, and we can't do it without your help!
