As Emory Suri Acapella, we bring a distinct impact to Emory University's campus through our fusion of Indian and Western musical styles. Our performances serve as a bridge between cultures, fostering understanding among our fellow students. By blending traditional Indian melodies with Western harmonies, we showcase the beauty of diverse musical traditions and encourage cross-cultural appreciation. Through our music, we aim to unify and educate, underscoring the importance of cultural collaboration and enriching our campus community.
We will use whatever we are able to fundraise toward all of our various competition travel costs from travel to accommodations to application fees. If we are fortunate to exceed our fundraising goal, we will use the additional funds for other group and competition-related expenses such as sound and lighting equipment, competition outfits, and to continue recording singles for major music distribution platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.

A gift to this project is a donation to this organization’s general fund. While the group has stated their needs for funding, their leadership may use funds raised for any purpose consistent with their registered student organization mission at Emory.
This could be used to fund application fees for different competition events.
This amount can be used for music & sound equipment to better help us prepare for our performances.
This amount could go towards hotel reservations when traveling to competitions.
This amount can go towards collective plane tickets when traveling to our competitions!
