Emory Club Ice Hockey is a new organization on campus that helps bring together those who love the sport. Our club is dedicated to fostering a spirit of camaraderie and competitive excellence among students who dedicate many hours to our team. We welcome lifelong players as well as newcomers alike. We plan to play in a competitive league starting Fall 2024.

The upcoming Spring 2024 semester will be an exciting phase for us, with scheduled scrimmages against notable teams from Georgia Tech and Kennesaw State. Depending on our fundraising, we may also play in a tournament, host more games, and take on other Atlanta-based teams. These events are not just games; they are opportunities for us to showcase Emory's ice hockey community's talent, dedication, and spirit. A critical component of our preparation for these scrimmages is the acquisition of official team uniforms, which will symbolize our unity and pride.
At this point, as a newly formed organization, we face the challenge of being entirely self-funded. Ice hockey, with its need for specialized equipment, rink time, and travel expenses, is inherently expensive. The financial burden of sustaining a high-quality program can be daunting, but with the support of generous donors, we can clear these obstacles.
Your contributions will play a massive role in our establishment on campus. They will not only help in the acquisition of uniforms but also in covering the costs of travel and competition. More importantly, your support will be instrumental in nurturing the growth of such a special sport in an area where it is not often given much attention.

At $1,850, we will be able to attend the Nashville Weekend Hockey Tournament in March 2024.
At $3,000, we will additionally be able to fund on-ice practices every other week for the semester.
At $5,500, we will be able to fully fund our desired weekly practice schedule.
At $7,500, we will also be able to host 3 or 4 games.
At $10,000, we will be fully covered for practices and games, as well as have access to amazing opportunities for team bonding.
Any additional funds will go to supporting students on campus who are interested in playing ice hockey but are unable to purchase the necessary equipment.
Please note, while the group has stated their needs for funding, their leadership may use funds raised for any purpose consistent with their registered student organization mission at Emory.
For the year the Emory Ice Hockey Club was founded. (Also, we won our first ever game, 3-2)
A gift of this amount can cover the full cost of one player’s jerseys, socks, and pants.
This amount can fund the costs for a whole game including referees and other expenses!
