The purpose of the Emory Badminton Association is to provide a weekly opportunity for individuals to participate in the sport of badminton at both a recreational and competitive level. Good sportsmanship, fostering connections among persons of all nationalities and experience levels, and providing an opportunity to foster physical fitness are goals of the Association.
Emory Badminton Association is currently the largest club sports on campus, boasting over 75 due-paying members. We welcome badminton enthusiasts of all levels, fostering community building and technical improvement through our recreational and competitive practices. We also have a regional impact as our club’s first-ever home competition, the 2023 Emory Badminton Open, attracted participants from 7 schools across four states.
Emory Badminton’s team of twelve outstanding athletes placed second in the 2023 Eastern Collegiate Southern Conference, qualifying us for the 2024 Division I Playoffs in Boston. We are so excited for this opportunity to represent Emory on the national stage and are training weekly in preparation for this competition. Your donations will help us train for the 2024 Division I Playoffs and alleviate traveling costs to Boston. Specifically, this will include the registration fee, equipment and shuttles for training, flights, accommodations, transportation/car rentals, among other travel and tournament costs. Any support is greatly appreciated!
A gift to this project is a donation to this organization’s general fund. While the group has stated their needs for funding, their leadership may use funds raised for any purpose consistent with their registered student organization mission at Emory.

$25 can be used to purchase one tube of shuttles for training. Thank you for supporting our training!
A gift of this amount can cover accommodation for one team member for one night. Thank you for supporting our travels!
