See our recent publication showing how graduate students and faculty are learning from campers about PKU and Maternal PKU: https://authors.elsevier.com/sd/article/S2214-4269(24)00048-X
The findings of this research study show that females with PKU are significantly impacted by their diagnosis and treatment. They experience unique challenges in their health management, including those related to mental health outcomes, social relationships, and affordability of health care treatments.

INCREDIBLE NEWS!
Thanks to you, our campaign to support Metabolic Camp has been nothing short of amazing. Thank you for your generous donations these past two weeks! We are delighted to have met the AND exceeded the challenge match of Professor and Mrs. Sheth from the Sheth Family Foundation. Together, we’ve raised over $10,000 – and that’s just the beginning!
As we enter the final two weeks of our campaign, the goal post has shifted, and our aspirations have soared. We’re setting our sights on a new summit – $30,000 by May 31st. This isn’t just a number; it’s a beacon of hope for young individuals grappling with PKU and MSUD.
Haven’t had a chance to contribute yet? There’s still time to join this extraordinary movement! Your donation today can ensure that Metabolic Camp continues to provide life-changing support for years to come.
Please share our fundraising link, http://momentum.emory.edu/metabolic30, with your family, friends, and colleagues or share easily on Facebook, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn. May is PKU Awareness Month, and we are thrilled to launch our crowdfunding campaign to celebrate the 30th Annual Metabolic Camp at Emory University!
The mission of our model, research-based camp intervention is to provide awareness and education to promote healthy pregnancies and to prevent developmental delay that is prevalent in the PKU population, known as Maternal PKU (MPKU) Syndrome.
***EXCITING NEWS ***
