Celebrating Our Success and Gratitude

July 29, 2024

We’re excited to share that our fundraising campaign for the Farm Worker Family Health Program raised $3,410!

This year, your generosity allowed us to provide essential services to over 1,100 children and adults in rural Georgia. Thanks to your support, we delivered crucial healthcare, hygiene kits, gift cards, bed linens, and pillows to farmworkers and their families.

As we mark the 31st anniversary of the FWFHP, we extend our deepest thanks to everyone who contributed and supported our mission. Your commitment makes a real difference in the lives of those who play a vital role in our agriculture.

While this campaign concludes, our work continues. Please consider supporting us in future efforts or spreading the word about the Farm Worker Family Health Program.

Thank you for making a lasting impact!

Celebrating Our Success and Continuing the Mission!

June 26, 2024

We are thrilled to share that this year, with the combined efforts of all our partners and dedicated healthcare students, the Farm Worker Family Health Program was able to serve over 1,100 children and adults! This remarkable achievement provided numerous direct patient care opportunities, enhancing both student learning and technical skills in real-world settings.

Your support has been instrumental in making this possible. We continue to need your help to provide essential resources such as hygiene kits, gift cards, boots, gently used clothing, and other items for the workers and their families.

Please consider making a donation to support this incredible program. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a significant impact. If you ate today, thank a farm worker.

Week 1 Update!

June 18, 2024

Many of the Emory volunteers gathered for the pre-departure Van Packing Party! Faculty, pre-licensure students, post-licensure students, CHOA volunteers nurses and community volunteers that will be with us this year came together to get us 2 vans packed full of critical healthcare materials needed for us to create clinic spaces wherever we are needed. Next step, meeting all the volunteers

Thank you to all our supporters!  Week 1 is complete; we were able to serve over 300 farmworkers, over 100 children.   Your donation has helped supply the farmworkers with Walmart gift cards and hygiene kits.  The children received backpacks full of school supplies and hygiene kits.  We are in week 2 and our campaign is still ongoing as we serve the community in Week 2.   Students, volunteers, and faculty will be busy providing health screenings and care.  A wide variety of healthcare students from different professions, such as nursing, nurse practitioners, physical therapy, dental and pharmacy are working together to provide care to the children at the Migrant Education Program and the farm workers at night camp.
