Emory Filipino Student Association - a vibrant and dynamic community of Filipino American college students in Georgia. We invite you to join us as we connect, celebrate, and advocate for our culture and identity. Our organization provides a welcoming space for members to engage in community-building and cultural awareness activities, share their unique experiences as college-aged Fil-Am students in the South, and learn about the diverse skills and interests of other FSAs in the area. Emory FSA also envisions a sustainable future for the organization, building a coalition of FSAs in Georgia and beyond that can support one another for years to come, take action, and celebrate Filipino culture!
We would use the funds we raised to purchase items needed for the 2nd GA FSA Leadership Summit's activities and audience engagement. The additional funds will also be used to supply more food and beverages for attendees.
Help support Emory FSA in creating unity among Georgia Filipino Student Associations and celebrating intersectionality! This year's leadership summit theme is Pagkakaisa at Pagkakaiba-iba (Unity and Diversity): Exploring Filipino Identity and Intersectionality. Building upon the resounding success of last year's Bayanihan event, we are thrilled to present a program that aims to strengthen the ties that bind our community, emphasizing our collective pursuit of unity and responsibility.
A gift to this project is a donation to this organization’s general fund. While the group has stated their needs for funding, their leadership may use funds raised for any purpose consistent with their registered student organization mission at Emory.
