Our Crowdfunding Groups
Emory Agnition, Emory’s premier Bollywood-fusion dance team, is excited and humbled to have made it to the national finals of the National Desi Dance League competition in Las Vegas, Nevada! Established in just 2023, our team has worked extremely hard to build a fostering community where students can engage in their love of dance while also exploring Indian culture. We’re so excited to bring our self-choreographed productions onto a competition stage, and in order to do so, we’re asking for your support in funding our transportation and accommodations, production necessities, and competition fees for our dedicated 20 dancers. We are incredibly grateful for any and all support you are able to provide!
Although a fairly new team on campus, Emory Agnition has quickly become a staple of Emory’s community. We serve to celebrate Bollywood fusion dance and bring our culture to on and off-campus events. Our team works hard to produce an original, student-choreographed, themed production each year, and we’re so excited to share our finished product on a national stage for the first time in our organization’s history!
Any and all funds would be used by our group to cover transportation costs, individual dancer fees, food and accommodations, along with various other costs. We would be grateful with any donation regardless of size, as it moves us one step closer to our goal of competing at NDDL! If we were to exceed our goal, we would be able to allocate additional funds towards future productions for our next competition season.
A gift to this project is a donation to this organization’s general fund. While the group has stated their needs for funding, their leadership may use funds raised for any purpose consistent with their registered student organization mission at Emory.
