Emory Crew is a student-run club rowing team founded in 1990 at Emory University. Our team members commit hundreds of hours every semester to train for competitions and regattas all over the Southeast, along with our rigorous academic course loads. Proper equipment and a knowledgeable team of coaching staff is required for our team to be competitive at races and to reach the full potential of all our hard work.
The Row-A-Thon is our biggest fundraiser of the year and plays a critical role in making sure our team has the resources we need to train and compete at our best. As we close out our spring racing season, one of our top priorities is purchasing new ergs (rowing machines). Our current ergs are outdated and overused, limiting the effectiveness of our indoor training—especially as our team continues to grow. Right now, we simply don’t have enough ergs for everyone to train efficiently, which affects the entire team’s progress. Upgrading our erg fleet would not only improve our training quality but also help us stay competitive against other programs. With your support, we can give every athlete the tools they need to succeed and keep building the future of Emory Rowing!
