As a new academic year begins, so do the dreams of Emory’s dance students, artists and scholars who are ready to grow, explore, and lead. You can help them take their next bold step

Friends of Dance at Emory is a support organization committed to enhancing the artistic and academic excellence of Emory’s dance students. Through scholarships, guest lectures, and special events, Friends of Dance helps students grow as artists, scholars, and leaders in the field.

Our focus this year is to raise support for our Mini-Grants program, which provides essential funding for dance majors and minors to attend world-renowned intensives and workshops during their winter break. These experiences allow students to deepen their training in movement technique, somatics, performance, and more - opportunities that many would not be able to access without financial support.

Our Goal: $3,000 = Up to 6 Mini-Grants

By raising $3,000, we can fund up to six Friends of Dance Mini-Grants, awarded in November and December. These grants open doors to transformative experiences that shape students’ artistic and academic journeys. The support is used to help cover tuition for intensives such as the Martha Graham Winter Intensive, Broadway Dance Center, and more.
