FANs Supporting Radiology Residents and Fellows
FANs Supporting Radiology Residents and Fellows
The Faculty and Alumni Network (FANs) of Emory Radiology is launching a fundraising campaign to support our residents and fellows. Developments related to federal funding have led to reductions in the educational operating budgets of the School of Medicine and the Department of Radiology.
The Impact of Your Gift
In the face of these funding reductions, your generosity will help preserve the breadth and quality of Emory’s educational programs, which has long distinguished our department and its graduates. Many of us remember the exceptional training we received, including access to educational software, board preparation resources, a generous book fund, and opportunities to present research at conferences or participate in global health initiatives.
Today, continued access to these opportunities is at risk. With your support, we can help maintain the quality of the Emory Radiology training experience and ensure our trainees continue to receive the support they need to thrive.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 by the end of 2025. Your tax-deductible gift will directly support resident and fellow education.
Beyond Our Goal
Additional funds will support the Adopt-a-Resident program, global health participation, and to fund events such as the resident graduation ceremony.
This is a one-time effort to close the funding gap and sustain the excellence of Emory Radiology training. Alumni of the residency and fellowship programs are invited to give at any level. All funds raised will directly support education during 2025–2026 academic year. Current Emory faculty are encouraged to give through payroll deduction.
