Emory SaRaas

We are SaRaas, Emory University's premier Raas/Garba team. We perform in Raas competitions across the country and at on-campus events, spreading the culture of traditional Indian folk dance. Our team contains 20 passionate dancers who dedicate hours towards choreography, practice, production, and performance to represent Emory at a national level.

Any support would be greatly appreciated! Funds will be allocated toward essential competition costs, including administrative expenses, costumes, travel, lodging, and props. The money enables us to attend and succeed in these competitions, creating lasting memories as a team.

Our student organization is open to all students.

A gift to this project is a donation to this organization’s general fund. While the group has stated their needs for funding, their leadership may use funds raised for any purpose consistent with their registered student organization mission at Emory.
