She's the First

She's the First Emory is a local chapter of the global non-profit She’s the First, which works toward a world where every girl is educated, respected, and heard. At Emory, we put this mission into action through service, advocacy, community building, and fundraising. We host events on campus, educating the Emory and greater Atlanta community about current events and the implications for girls everywhere, and volunteer at local girls' after-school programs and women's and children's shelters. We also host fundraisers that help fund educational programs in countries globally, with nearly one million girls having gained access to education, mentorship, and leadership opportunities in the past 15 years due to She's the First.

Your donation helps ensure that girls worldwide can pursue their education and develop the confidence to become leaders in their communities. At Emory, your support also allows us to volunteer locally and raise awareness about the challenges girls face every day. Our student organization is open to all students.

A gift to this project is a donation to this organization’s general fund. While the group has stated their needs for funding, their leadership may use funds raised for any purpose consistent with their registered student organization mission at Emory.
