Emory Ballroom Dance Club

Emory Ballroom Dance Club is a student-led organization that brings the joy of partnered ballroom dance to the entire Emory community. We offer fun, beginner-friendly weekly classes and themed balls, while also teaching members the technique and culture of styles ranging from waltz to cha-cha to swing. Our dancers perform at campus events, compete at varsity-level competitions across the U.S. and consistently place in finals, and give back through our regular volunteer lessons at the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge and senior living homes. Above all, we strive to create an inclusive, accessible dance community where Emory students can connect, express themselves, and experience the joy of ballroom dance regardless of background or experience.

Your donations help us to keep ballroom dance accessible to every Emory student by covering the costs of dance instructors, competition registration, social events, and essential dance equipment. Our student organization is open to all students.

A gift to this project is a donation to this organization’s general fund. While the group has stated their needs for funding, their leadership may use funds raised for any purpose consistent with their registered student organization mission at Emory.
