Liberty in North Korea
LiNK at Emory is a student-led chapter of the global non-profit organization, Liberty in North Korea (LiNK), dedicated to rescuing, restoring, and resettling North Korean refugees. We works to raise awareness about the challenges faced by North Korean refugees and to change the narrative surrounding North Korea—from politics and nuclear weapons to the resilience and humanity of its people. Through advocacy & various fundraising events, like our annual Benefit Concert, we contribute to rescue North Korean refugees, support their resettlement, and telling the stories of those who can't.
Your gift directly supports the rescue and resettlement of North Korean refugees, helping them escape inhumane conditions and rebuild their lives. Every dollar raised goes toward safe passage, shelter, and resources that empower them to begin new journeys of freedom. By contributing, you are not only saving lives but also amplifying the voices and stories of the North Korean people. Thank you for standing with us in this global mission of humanity and freedom.
Our student organization is open to all students.
A gift to this project is a donation to this organization’s general fund. While the group has stated their needs for funding, their leadership may use funds raised for any purpose consistent with their registered student organization mission at Emory.
