What is Black Student Alliance?
Black students at Emory University seek to maintain an Afro‑centric identity within the campus’s diverse community; to promote awareness of a conscious and multifaceted Black community; to educate the broader public about all parts of the Black Diaspora; to celebrate Black culture and heritage; and to serve as a forum for the study and advancement of Afro‑centric ideals and goals.
The Impact of Our Group
This campaign is to help fund BSA's 2nd annual Unity Gala. The Unity Gala was a highlight of our calendar last year, and we intend to continue that impact. The event is designed to celebrate community and collective joy amongst students and alumni. This event celebrates our vibrant Black community at Emory along with others to foster a spirit of unity and enjoyment.
The Impact of Your Gift
Any and all money raised will go towards the gala even if the amount goal is not reached. If the goal is exceeded, the money will be used towards the next Unity Gala.
