This year, the Class of 2026 has taken time to reflect on the individuals who have profoundly shaped the Oxford experience. In recognition of Provost Badia Ahad’s leadership and enduring commitment to students, and in loving memory of Shreya Gowducheruvu 24Ox 26C, whose joy, kindness, and spirit continue to inspire her classmates, the Oxford Class Gift Committee has chosen to dedicate the 2026 class gift in their honor and memory. With the support of Provost Ahad and Shreya’s parents, the class gift will create new and enhanced outdoor community spaces, including improvements to the Hearn Nature Trail and gathering areas in and around the Quad. These welcoming spaces are intended to encourage reflection, connection, and shared community and will serve as lasting reminders of the leadership, warmth, and impact both Provost Ahad and Shreya brought to Oxford College.
