We did it—thanks to YOU. Another successful YTI crowdfunding campaign is in the books! Through your generosity, in just four weeks, we raised enough to fully support a future YTI scholar. This program continues to transform the lives of youth and our staff, and they will ultimately change our world! Thank you and congratulations to all who made this success possible!

On Saturday we said goodbye to our 2017 YTI Scholars after one of the most impactful summers ever.

Our scholars have grown and been challenged in important ways and have developed relationships that will last a lifetime. While the academy has ended, we have eight days remaining for our third crowdfunding campaign. By now we hope you see and understand the difference this program makes in the lives of young people. From the course work to worship and engagement in social justice causes throughout the city, the 2017 YTI Scholars invested their all in becoming public theologians.

It’s week two of YTI and what a profound time we have had. The walls of protection that we each have are crumbling as the scholars engage in deep and challenging conversations of faith and justice all the while extending grace and approaching the conversation with ears to understand and not argue. What if we could all approach the world this way?

Thanks to you, youth will continue to have this opportunity, and the world will be better for it. We’re already more than halfway to our goal and are overwhelmed by your generosity! Thank you. Let’s keep up the momentum.

YTI has launched its third crowdfunding campaign, and we are excited to build on the overwhelming success from the past two years. Thanks to generous lead gifts from former YTI Staff members, Rebecca Storace and Dr. Carlton Mackey, which total nearly $2,000, our goal is to raise $4,000 more to fully fund a future scholar. Your gifts provide immediate support for the youth by subsidizing the overall cost of the summer program. The scholars arrived on Sunday, July 2nd, to embark on what is sure to be a life-changing and transformative experience. Thanks to all who have helped make this possible!
