We are overwhelmed by the response from all of our donors! Thank you for mobilizing your communities and networks. By your efforts we raised just over $9,500 online and received several more gifts because of you! As we all go forward, know that you have played an important role in repairing our world from the wounds of discrimination.
We’re so grateful for the support of our work to train the next generation of Jewish scholars and repudiate the discrimination that occurred at Emory a half-century ago. Your gifts to the Brickman/Levin Fund fuel the work of graduate students in Jewish studies. We have just two days left and $6,900 to raise to meet our goal of $15,000. Thank you for continued help spreading the word about this important project, making the study of Jewish life and culture a permanent part of Emory’s graduate curriculum and providing support that will allow the university to train the next generation of Jewish scholars!
One week left in our campaign and $6,000 to raise. Thank you for your contributions and support for this important cause. Your gifts acknowledge the work of Perry Brickman and Art Levin who brought the story of discrimination in Emory’s past to light. Funds raised in their name will support graduate students teaching and studying Jewish life. Please continue to share with your network so we can reach our goal together!
Shana Tova (Happy New Year)! We’re over halfway to our goal of $15,000 to support graduate work in Jewish Studies. Thank you for the outpouring of generosity you have all shown us! We still have 13 days left in our campaign, and we appreciate your support in spreading the word to those who have yet to give. Let’s continue on this worthy endeavor together!
We’ve already received such wonderful support as we work to establish the future of Jewish studies at Emory! Thank you to all who have given—you can still contribute by sharing with your friends, family, and colleagues and asking them to join you in supporting the Brickman/Levin fund as we pursue a full fellowship endowment. We’re almost halfway to our goal of $15,000 and wouldn’t be here without you. Thanks in advance for helping us keep the momentum going!
Confronting the past can be difficult, especially when we face a painful time of discrimination and bigotry. However, this is exactly what Emory has done in remembering and seeking to make amends for a particularly stark moment of antisemitism in our Dental School. Thanks for your contribution to the future study and enrichment of Jewish culture by giving to the Brickman/Levin fund through this project. Please spread the word and ask your friends, family, and colleagues to join you in supporting the study of Jewish history and culture at the Laney Graduate School!
