Thank you for all of your generous support so far. We have about two weeks left on our Momentum campaign, so we would like to ask you to please help us spread the word by sharing our link, momentum.emory.edu/EmoryMetabolic, and sharing easily on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
You can read below how your gifts impact the lives of those who have attended our Metabolic Camp:
"I remember learning at a very young age about the importance of dietary control during pregnancy, and it was something that was reinforced time and time again when I was here [at camp]. And so when it became time for my husband and I to plan our first pregnancy, we had good knowledge of what to expect and knew that planning was essential. I think the camp was completely responsible for that."
Martha Beckmann Stanojevich, Camp Alum, mother of two healthy children
"This camp has made me very independent and has brought me to be who I am today."
Mary Caitlin Allen, Camp Alum
We are excited to celebrate the 25th Annual Metabolic Camp for PKU and MSUD by launching our first crowdfunding campaign!
Our camp mission is to provide awareness and education to promote healthy pregnancies and prevent developmental delay that is prevalent in the PKU population, known as Maternal PKU (MPKU) Syndrome.
Thank you to the Sheth Family Foundation and other donors who have already made charitable gifts to the Metabolic Camp. Your gifts can help provide low protein modified foods for our campers or can help pay for their camp expenses.
Please continue to share our crowdfunding link, http://momentum.emory.edu/EmoryMetabolic, via email, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn with your family, friends, and colleagues to further support our campaign.
