Help an Emory Student in Need

You can change lives through the Emory Student Hardship Fund

Your gift to the Emory Student Hardship Fund provides life-changing assistance to Emory students in need due to a crisis or catastrophic event. These events have the potential to disrupt or derail a student’s Emory education and expected graduation date. By helping meet their immediate needs, the Student Hardship Fund gives Emory students the ability to overcome difficult setbacks and challenges.

The impact of your gift

Completing college or grad school is hard enough without a death in the family, an unexpected medical expense, or an immediate threat to personal safety. Multiple Emory students have experienced domestic relationships turning abusive, and the Student Hardship Fund has helped them with financial means to move and stay in a safer location. A gift to the Student Hardship Fund lets Emory students know that we have their backs and offers timely financial help that can lead to peace of mind and academic success.

This fund is entirely supported by charitable donations like yours, and any amount helps meet a student’s time-sensitive need. With $5,000 more, the committee that administers the fund can act quickly to fulfill even more student requests. Your support will meet an Emory student’s need in a crisis and help them stay on track to graduate.
