The Emory Healthcare Employee Hardship Committee considers applications from hardships such as a death in the family, unusual medical expenses caused by severe illness or accident, uninsured losses caused by fire, crime, flood or other disasters, unusual uninsured expense for the care of a sick family member. While emergency financial crises may happen at any time, COVID-19 has increased the likelihood of these hardships.
By helping Emory Healthcare employees during times of great need, the Hardship Fund offers financial assistance for eligible employees navigating the difficult setbacks that COVID-19 is creating.
Your gift to an Emory Healthcare Employee Hardship Fund lets the Emory community know that you have their back.
For more than 10 years, this hardship fund has been available to support Emory Healthcare employees who are experiencing financial hardship. It is essential that this fund be available now, and that we are prepared to address the critical needs of Emory Healthcare employees during the COVID-19 crisis.
This fund is supported entirely by voluntary donations from those wanting to assist Emory Healthcare workers facing unexpected financial challenges. The program does not receive annual funding from the university.
