Thank you for your interest in Feed the Frontline. This program and crowdfunding campaign has ended. To help Emory fight the pandemic and continue to support health care workers, please check out the COVID-19 Impact Fund campaign.
Thanks to your support during the height of the COVID-19 crisis towards one or more of Emory’s targeted relief funds--Feed the Frontline; COVID-19 Impact Fund; Emory Healthcare Employee Hardship Fund—our heroic health care workers and researchers received the resources and backing they needed to serve the community.
Your help in the face of this pandemic shows how deeply you care for those who care for us. In the wake of your remarkable support last year, the recent surge in cases serves as a stark reminder that the need continues.
Your support for health care-focused causes matters more than ever—which is why we’re reaching out to invite you to re-invest in the care givers and researchers benefiting the Atlanta community and beyond. Thank you for supporting our health care heroes by making a gift to Feed the Frontline.
Since April 3 approximately 10,000 meals each week have been delivered to Atlanta-area hospitals including Emory Healthcare, Grady Health System, Piedmont Health, the Atlanta VA Healthcare System, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Northside Hospital, and WellStar Health System.
The meals have come at no cost to the frontline heroes.
Thanks to your gift.
Gaurav Budhrani, doctor of anesthesiology and critical care at the Atlanta VA Medical Center, praised the program as a welcome pick-me-up during difficult times, “To leave the ICU momentarily and to be surprised with a delicious meal is a huge morale boost, and for that you have my gratitude.”
Having surpassed expectations and fulfilled its mission to ease the burden of health care workers through the first wave of the pandemic, the Feed the Frontline campaign is closing. The final meal delivery will be on May 30.
To detail the final impact of your gift, we will soon be sharing a full digital story featuring personal accounts of those who benefitted from your generosity as well as the program’s amazing totals.
Thank you for making a difference.

Thank you for helping members of the Emory community with your gift to the Emory Feed the Frontline fund!
Our frontline health care workers are heroes every day, but now more than ever, they deserve and need our help. You have generously joined the Feed the Frontline movement, a timely initiative created by The James M. Cox Foundation, to offer vital nourishment and comfort to Atlanta’s health care frontline. “Every day our health care workers are leaving the safety of their homes and putting themselves in harm’s way in order to save lives,” said Jim Kennedy, chairman of Cox Enterprises. “We recognize the sacrifice they’re making, and this is one small way we can support them while they battle on the front lines.”
This effort is a collaboration with major foundations and corporations and more than 700 individual donors. Since April 3, we have already delivered 11,000 meals, but this is just the beginning—throughout each week, over 9,000 total boxed meals will be delivered across the city to help feed the frontline.
We are deeply grateful for your support of this remarkable effort. Please help amplify this message and your impact by sharing why you donated to the Emory Feed the Frontline fund via Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn using the hashtag #feedthefrontline.
As members of the Emory community, we’re all in this together. Before we can even begin to measure the toll COVID-19 will take on our lives, you have already stepped in to help, and we are inspired by your kindness.
Your generosity and care are what truly define and unite the Emory community. Thank you.
