Thank you for your interest in the 2021 Oxford Class Gift in Honor of Rob Mallard and Dr. Gary Glass Momentum project. This campaign has ended, but you can still support the Oxford Class Gift by making a gift here today!
As members of the Oxford Class Gift Committee of 2021, we have chosen to make our gift in honor of Dr. Gary Glass, director of Counseling and Career Services and in memory of your classmate and friend, Rob Mallard 87Ox. Dr. Glass has guided and supported students during the past year. He is an amazing human being, and we students are thankful to have him at Oxford College. We understand that Rob was also an amazing person who supported many of you at Oxford and years beyond. We want to honor his memory by naming an endowed internship in his name, along with Dr. Glass.
At Oxford College, two years constitutes a uniquely rigorous and exciting learning experience. When we leave this historic campus, many of us will continue to Emory in Atlanta buoyed by a prestigious education, cherished friendships, and — most important — open minds. We leave Oxford with newfound appreciation for the strong relationships we have forged with our peers and with the faculty and staff, forming lasting bonds we will carry throughout our lives.
We have embraced all aspects of Oxford — the natural beauty, academic distinction, and countless opportunities for leadership, service, and extracurricular growth. To assure that the Oxford experience continues to thrive and grow, and to allow students to express their commitment to the college, each year the sophomore class conducts a Class Gift Campaign with a goal of 100 percent participation from all students.
The 2021 Oxford class gift will benefit the entire Oxford community by providing support to raise awareness about the ways in which social justice and mental health intersect. We are coordinating efforts and developing plans with input from Dean Hicks, Counseling and Career Services, and Campus Life.
On behalf of the Oxford Class of 2021, we ask that you share in our sincere appreciation for the Oxford experience and all that it encompasses by contributing to our class gift and legacy. We invite you to join in supporting our class gift and Oxford, as we need your help to secure the funds needed to endow and name the internship. Your participation is vital to a successful campaign. Support from alumni, faculty, staff, parents, and friends is also vital to our success.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Sincerely,
Harrison Campbell 21Ox and Gracie Wilson 21Ox

The Oxford Class Gift Committee (OCGC) assists Oxford College’s Office of Advancement and Alumni Engagement in its efforts to establish a culture of giving among the students at Oxford. The committee is composed of sophomore students who have demonstrated leadership and an interest in serving the college. OCGC members work together to raise funds, and they select which areas of Oxford will receive the proceeds from their efforts.
