2017 BBA Class Gift Update

August 29, 2017

Classes are underway for an exciting new school year on the Emory campus. While our 2017 BBA graduates thrive in new professional and personal opportunities, their class gift legacy of creating social enterprise experiences for the next great generation of BBA students has just begun.

Rachel Chon 19B, BBA Student and Emory Impact Investing Group (EIIG) leader, will be attending Social Capital Market (SOCPA)17 in San Francisco in October. The funds from this campaign will help provide scholarship funding for Rachel to not only attend the conference, but also cover travel costs.  SOCAP represents the single largest gathering of impact investors and social enterprise change makers in the world. Rachel looks forward to this fantastic learning and networking opportunity.

Ivena Santilair 18B, BBA student, will return for her 2nd year as a Social Enterprise Fellow. This program recognizes Goizueta students who demonstrate both a deep interest in social enterprise and commitment to social change. The funds from this campaign will help support Ivena’s fellowship experience which includes various social events, hands-on activities, and mentorship opportunities throughout the academic year. We are pleased to announce that Ivena will be joined by at least one additional new BBA fellow who will be announced in September.

Professor Wesley Longhofer returns to teach Business and Society for BBAs once again this fall. A new group of BBAs will learn about corporate social responsibility and how companies are strategically addressing social challenges with business acumen. This dynamic class closes with our 3rd Annual Audacious Ideas Night where students pitch their big ideas for social impact to a panel of all-star judges.

Thanks again for your support. We look forward to updating you on the BBA social enterprise experience this academic year!

Thank You and Congratulations!

Time is Running Out!

April 28, 2017

Thank you for your support of the 2017 BBA Class Gift. We’re only 3 days away from the end of our campaign and still need to raise $2,544 more to hit our $10,000 goal.

You can still add to the Class of 2017's legacy at Emory by continuing to spread the word and encouraging others to donate to the class gift benefitting Social Enterprise @ Goizueta. Not only will you be helping your soon-to-be alma mater, but you also will be helping communities around the world.

We’re almost to goal!

April 26, 2017

Thank you all so much for your contributions to the 2017 BBA Class Gift supporting SE@G – you have helped us get to 70% of our goal. As I hope you have learned through our introductory video, SE@G is an exciting program with tons of potential to not only better Goizueta, but the world as a whole. From right here in Atlanta, to abroad in Nicaragua and Central America, I have been able to both witness and participate in the SE@G mission to utilize business to drive positive change. Your donation allows the program to continue to increase its breadth and scope as well as separate Goizueta from its peer institutions.

With only five days left, we need your help to continue to spread the word.  Help us get to 100 percent of our goal.
